Spain Visa (Schengen) photo — requirements & how to
Spain's Schengen visa photo is a passport-sized 35–45 mm colour photo on a white background — deliberately different from the tiny 32×26 mm photo used for the Spanish DNI. Submit one photo with your application; biometrics are captured at the consulate as well. Don't mix up the two formats.
Key rules for Visa (Schengen)

- White or light, plain uniform background; colour photo, full front view
- Bareheaded (religious headwear OK if facial features are visible)
- No dark or reflective glasses, no garments concealing the face oval
- Exact wording varies by consulate — check your own consulate's checklist
