Indian passport photos use the 45×35 mm format on Passport Seva applications — a close-up of the head and top of the shoulders with the face filling about 80–85% of the frame and a plain white background. Some application channels (for example OCI or some consular submissions) request 51×51 mm (2×2 in) instead, so always check which format your application specifies — the tool can produce both.
